Trim Levels
With seven trim levels to choose from, so you’re sure to find the right Corolla for you. The trim levels are the L, LE, Hybrid LE, SE, black SE Nightshade, XLE, and XSE. The Corolla stands out thanks to its aggressive, futuristic styling, which includes a big front grille, a lowered fascia, and sleek LED headlights.
The SE Nightshade and XSE have 18-inch alloy wheels, the L has 15-inch alloy wheels, and the remaining trims have 16-inch alloy wheels. With blackout spokes, black side rockers, a rear spoiler, and black highlights on the exterior of the vehicle, the Nightshade Edition gives off a sophisticated, mysterious look.

Powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 139 horsepower, the sedan is no slouch. A continuously variable transmission is standard with this engine. Hatchback Corollas come with either the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine or a friendly, interactive six-speed manual transmission. Front-wheel drive is optional on all trims. A 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine coupled with an electric motor produces 121 horsepower in the hybrid Corolla. On the hybrid, you’ll find the same continuously variable transmission.
Performance
The Corolla’s front-wheel-drive system provides grip for climbing hills and traction on slick roads. The car handles nimbly while cornering, navigating on twisty roads, and manoeuvring through traffic thanks to the fine-tuned suspension, particularly in the SE and SE Nightshade trims. With the terrain management system’s standard and sport driving modes, it’s simple to switch driving modes when the terrain or weather conditions change. The hybrid has the same driving modes as the regular car, with the addition of an ECO mode for better fuel economy.
On the inside
Both the sedan and hatchback models can comfortably seat five people, with plenty of room for luggage, groceries, and supplies. The Corolla hatchback is quite spacious, having 18 cubic feet of cargo space, while the sedan has 13 cubic feet. A tray at the front console, cubby holes, and a bin under the front armrest offers you to have plenty of places to stash small personal objects in the cabin.
The infotainment system is standard throughout the range, with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Automobile connectivity, and a subscription-based Wi-Fi hot spot. Features including a power-adjust driver’s seat, heated front seats, and virtual leather upholstery are standard and available on higher trims. The SE and Nightshade trim levels include regular sports seats. Let more light in with the XLE’s regular power sunroof, which is available as an option.
Features of Safety
Toyota takes pride in manufacturing safe cars, and every Corolla comes standard with Toyota’s Safety Sense suite of driver-assist features. automatic emergency braking, pre-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane departure alarm, and lane tracing assist are among the features included. Dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, and road sign assist are also included. Blind-spot detection with rear cross-traffic warning is another optional safety feature.
