Sept. 19 will mark the launch of the 2022 Toyota Tundra

Toyota has been promising us the next-generation Tundra for years, and now we know when it will arrive. On Tuesday, Toyota confirmed that its new full-size truck would premiere on Sunday, September 19, at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time (6:00 pm ET).

In the last several months, Toyota has been teasing us with teasers of what to anticipate from the Tundra. Up to this point, we’ve seen a little of the exterior as well as the revised suspension and motorised rear window. A new twin-turbo V6 and an electric powertrain are both expected to be offered, although no official word has been released yet.

The Ram 1500, the new Ford F-150, and the newly redesigned Chevrolet Silverado all provide strong competition for the Tundra. We’re looking forward to seeing everything Toyota has to offer.
